BBC Spirits is proud to announce that, effective January 1st 2020, Kavalan Taiwanese Whisky is joining its Premium portfolio already made of Japanese Spirits including The Matsui Single Malt, The Kurayoshi Pure Malt, The Tottori Blended, Etsu Gin, Teeda Rum as exclusive distributor in the following European countries : Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Iceland, Kosovo, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.

Established in 2005, Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whiskymaker and the nation’s only family-owned whisky distillery. Kavalan takes the old name of Yilan county where the distillery is located in northeastern Taiwan. The pure water and fresh air make this part of the subtropical island the ideal environment for the production of whisky.
